About The Unpaved Hub

Welcome to The Unpaved Hub! My name is Jonathan (“JB” for short). Put simply, cycling is my passion. A passion driven by the desire to enjoy life on two wheels and constantly and consistently improve all aspects of it. To that end, The Unpaved Hub (“The Hub” for short) was created to provide a variety of cycling content in the hopes of helping others who also love life on two wheels and those just starting their journeys toward loving it. By sharing cycling knowledge, experiences, stories, and adventures, together we can collectively improve ourselves and the world around us.

Leadville Trail 100 MTB Finisher Shot #2

Most content on The Hub will relate to all things gravel and mountain biking – hence the Unpaved portion of the name. It will include product impressions and suggestions, an events calendar, event reports, some of the latest happenings in the sport, literature on how to improve and preserve community and our natural resources and public lands, local park spotlights, event preparation, route planning ideas, and route reports. It will essentially be a go-to for anything cycling-related – hence the Hub portion of the name.

The Hub’s home state of PA has some of the best landscape, trails, and country paved and gravel roads. It has a uniquely-awesome unpaved cycling and outdoor community, talented cycling and outdoor craftsmen and women, and dedicated stewards and conservationists. A lot of the content will show-off the PA cycling and outdoor community, our beautiful public lands, and stewardship and conservation efforts to improve and preserve PA for future generations.
