The following is a brief snippet from the Cross Cut Dirty Metric Century Event promoter:
The (Northern) Cross Cut Dirty Metric Century is a route that has lived in my head for years and was almost the original LLWH route, but we were getting a bit too far out of town for that to be a possibility.
It was out on these scenic farm rides that a few friends decided that we needed to show everyone else what was available in a little known town off of Route 6 in NEPA. . . .
The route has a about 6700 feet of climbing over the 63 ish miles, which sounds like a ton, but most of it is short ups and downs with some climbs up from the Susquehanna river thrown in for good measure.
Please see the Cross Cut Dirty Metric Century Event promoter’s website for more. This Event promoter also puts on the infamous Lu Lacka Wyco Hundo in April and the Starrucca Crossing in May. Check it out!
